Petrin Hill and Observation Tower - Prague

Had a great breakfast at the hotel to start the day.  My requirements for making hotel reservations included hi-speed (free) Internet and free breakfast.  So far, that has really paid off!  Most hotel breakfasts include an assortment of cold cuts and rolls, as well as fresh fruit (apples, peaches, etc.).  So Ed and I made sandwiches each day and took those along with us.

Today is our last day in Prague, so our mission is to get away from the crowds in the City and go up the funicular to Petrin Hill.  On our walk we discovered we were near the John Lennon Wall, so we stopped for a picture:

A short walk to the funicular and then up to Petrin Hill...

This is actually a view from the top looking down the track...

Now it's time to do some climbing -- 299 steps!!  Knees, here we go:

Observation Tower

And now for the view on top...
