Goodbye, Salzburg... Hello, Vienna!!

What a fabulous week I had in Salzburg.  It's Sunday, and raining, and it's time to say "Wiedersehen, Salzburg!"  My hotel (Motel One - Salzburg-Sud) is right across from the bus station, and many new Institut friends were also on the bus going to the train station!  Everyone is going in their own direction, though.  It's time for me to meet up with my wonderful husband, Ed.  Can't wait to see you!!!

The train ride was fast and smooth, and I decided to continue my journey from Wien Westbahnhof train station to Hotel Opernring,  the same, so I took a taxi.  I encountered traffic getting there because of a bike race, but my fearless cab driver persevered!  And wouldn't you know it, the hotel is directly across from the Steinway Haus !  From our balcony, I can see it, but it is obscured by trees, so I got the image from Google Images...  The below photos, I took from our hotel balcony...
