We are walking everywhere... Next we went to the Museum Quartier, but opted to go to the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Museum of Fine Arts) instead. All I can say is "WOW"!
Of course we needed to have the famous Sacher Torte, so we went to the Sacher Cafe.
Ed really thought it was over-rated, but I just liked having the experience!
Next, about that guy standing next to Ed that I posted about yesterday... Remember, Burim? Well, it was a legit transaction. We walked to the Auersperg Palais and were actually the first ones to go in and sit down. A small performing space to see a Mozart/Strauss Chamber Orchestra with opera and dance! Every piece they played was familiar, and the musicianship was superb. An enjoyable experience!
From there we meandered and ended up in the park where people were gathering in the food courts before the Vienna Film Festival 2014. We just walked around because we really did not need to eat. Ed got a Stella Artois, and I have been drinking sparkling water, which I have decided is a treat. Amazing that there are no plastic bottles -- everything is glass. People are walking around with glass bottles and glassware!
Our last night in Vienna -- complete with an interesting view of the sky in front of our hotel:
